Not the only problem on 3D. I can well understand that Nvidia want to get it right. I wish Cyberlink were as interested. Power DVD 10 Ultra refuses to play Blu-Ray on my Samsung 120 HZ 3D set up. I can see there is a conflict problem concering the 3D cable to the monitor. But Cyberlink either do not understand what is wrong or I suspect are refusing to admit V10 software is incompatible in Blu-Ray with 120 HZ monitors albeit OK in standard DVD playback. If anyone with a Samsung 2233 monitor and good Nvidia 3D vision has cracked the problem of playing Power DVD 10 ultra and Blu-Ray I would love to hear from you

At last! the latest Mark II patch on Cyberlink Power DVD 10 ultra now allows those of us with Samsung 2233RZ 120 Mhz monitors to play Blu Ray. Until now the Samsung screen was incompatible with 10 ultra Blu-Ray software.. Samsung recently acknowleged this as I had been trying to get Cyberlink to act on the problem for 3 months.

I haven't had time to reset the new Nvidia Drivers on my 3D system but hopefully it will be ok re these.

Cyberlink Power DVD 10 Ultra MarkII plays 2D Blu Ray just fine --but although I can run standard DVDs in 3D format with reasonable results it will not play Blu-ray in 3D format so looks as if another patch is still required for that. Has anyone managed to get 3D Blu-Ray playback yet?

Turns out the Samsung 2233 RZ 3d Vision capable monitor is only HDCP capable when set to 60 MHz.. This is not obvious to anyone buying this monitor as specs will inevitably say it is 'HDCP compliant' In my last post my joy was probably because I had the monitor on 60 Hz without realising it during all my testing so ignore that post. One can get button happy on all the permutations I was trying
The Samsung's factory default setting for 3D vision is of course 120 Mhz. So anyone trying to play Cyberlink Power DVD 10 Ultra MarkII or indeed any other Cyberlink Bluray software as far as I can see will have to reset the monitor to a 60 Mhz input. Kind of crazy when one needs 120 Mhz to play 3D vision. But perhaps these are early days.

I have no idea if the problem of fixing this lies with Samsung or Cyberlink. Neither seem overkeen to address the problem which surely must have been known to them during developement testing? Are later models of Samsung and other 120 MhZ monitors able to resolve this mis-match?

We live and learn. It will be interesting to see how Cyberlink will cope with 3D Blu-Ray on a 120MZ Samsung!!!
