Does still make me laugh as 7 is Vista with lipstick. With that I got 7 for £45 on release otherwise I would still be on Vista.

Funnily enough, yesterday I heard someone refer to Vista as "the Alpha release of 7". Joking apart, there's more to 7 than "merely" visual tweaks, for example I'm sure our colleague "dangel" would point out that there's major tweaks to the security system - certainly to me UAC is readily usable in 7, whereas it's a pita in Vista.
