    Motherboard Coponents Humming

Manyshuttle users have expressed their annoyance with motherboard components humming when scrolling over web pages and during cpu intensive tasks, (not overall pc noise e.g fans) More info is here... http://forums.sudhian.com/messagevie...7411&forumid=1

What do you plan to do to your motherboards to prevent this very annoying buzzing?? (Both my SB61G2's hum buzz during network traffic, scrolling on web pages, cpu intensive tasks etc)

I would contact them for Support - none of mine do. This is also not really the point of the interview.

Oh OK sorry, I have contacted shuttle but they never got back to me, oh well the noise isnt that annoying

Will I.C.E. Technology be able to be used with up and coming processors with their increasing heat output?

Will shuttle ever produce retail 'special edition' UV reactive or otherwise blacklit SFF models?

Will we see any 939 sff solutions in the near future, and if so, will they be nForce3 or VIA chipset based?

There are some pics of the new ICE heatsink floating around the web already so I imagine that answer will be yes

Laptops are increasingly available with SD/MMD card slots etc. Do Shuttle have any plans to include slots to avoid filling up the 3.5 inch bay ?

Cosmetically it would be nice if the headphone, mic sockets etc could be hidden in the fascia with a drop down bay door. Does Shuttle have any plans to modify the faceplate to mask these ports ?

Are there any plans to include a bluetooth or (when it becomes available) a wireless USB hub in Shuttles so that wireless peripherals can be used without any additional desktop clutter ?

I've always wondered (so I'm not 100% sure if this is possible or not at the moment) if different Shuttle mobo's can be used in different Shuttle cases. I've never seen them sold seperately you see.

For instance, I like the features of the SN41G2 but like the look of the case for the SB61G2.

    SN42G2:

    SB61G2:

My question would be if they can sell Shuttle cases and mobo's seperately to allow this. If this is not relevant, please ignore.

The Sn41g2 case and the SB61g2 are the same case there are about 4-5 different chassis the last 2 digits of the model number refer to case style. Hence g2 meaning same case.

The only slight differences are in port layout and front panel being slightly different.

Mobos are sold seperatly but cases arent, mobos are too expensive to be worth it tho. You can get some cases from other sources tho.

    Dear Shuttle.

Are you planning on doing a shuttle with 2 x dedicated built in SATA hot swappable drives to compliment the onboard Raid that many models now come with.

I would use that and i wouldnt mind losing the floppy disk drive area in order to cater for it.
