Good for competition but its an Athlon...
I think this is good for the HTPC end myself?
I mean its not going to play Crysis on full, but its not ment to, 18W TDP![]()

Not bad at all .. hmm - wonder if it's possible to mount one of these in an existing system with some jiggery pokery?
Can't imagine why not. Mini-ITX boards have the same basic mounting holes as mATX and ATX boards, don't they? I've never compared them directly, but I always assumed mounting holes were pretty universal.
If I hadn't bought an Athlon based mini-ITX system 6 months ago, I'd be quite interested in this. Especially if it can, in fact, go fanless. Mine only has 1 large (system) fan keeping everything cool, but that's still 1 more than I'd like!
My fault - mean to say mounted in a case alongside an existing system![]()
18W is around the same or more than an Atom board depending on whether it has ION or just the D510 etc... 18W is about on a par with recent Core iX CULV launches.
If this is to compete it needs to be either much faster or not much pricier than an Atom/ION combo or CULV Core iX based system.
Hmmm - Some sort of sticky mounts for the case side... and perhaps if the back panel was possible to connect via pass through cables? Would certainly be a nice replacement for my current Silverstone PS-01B-W based secondary system?
I'll have to think on that![]()
