2nd picture up is the generator, 4th up is where you program in whether it pulses and how much voltage, bottom pic is where you strap Nick to, 3rd pic up is the handy portable box so he can never escape :p

Power consumption test rig?

Hexus Labs going medical? Cyborging staff?

Nothing, you just wanted to make a robot suit for Nick out of the empty boxes.

Looks a bit like a PSU tester.

That would be my guess as well, an update to the great Hexus PSU test you did a few years back.
