Sky's consumer survey must've asked one person and this person was actually Mr Potato head. I have never heard of anyone mistaking sky and skype... even my dad who speaks very little English knows that they're completely different. Still, their legal team needs a purpose for existence so obviously they need to work on a case no matter how imaginary it may be...

I think Sky's product sounds far too similar to the big blue thing above our heads. However, it is QUITE CLEARLY NOT the big blue thing, therefore I shall sueing. So there.

If Sky / BSkyB realy cared about protecting their name they would have gone after these guys ages ago...

I think too this is nothing more than a PR stunt and also a bit of anger on skys behalf because they are behind. Sky have been very slow to get VOIP going while the likes of BT, skype and google are way ahead. How dare someone do something better than Sky.
