I was originally expecting Portal 2 to be bundled with HL:Ep3, but that looks unlikely now. Shame.

My guess is that there will be hints in Portal 2 as to what will happen in Ep3, and that Ep3 will be announced in the couple of months after Portal 2's release.

My guess is also my hope.

I enjoyed the first release immensely, was such an original game that provided lots of laughs and fun.

I hope the 2nd doesn't disappoint.

I really want Valve to be the most almighty trolls in the world, tell us just before Portal 2 launch that we have to wait another year for Ep. 3, take the inevitable flaming for a couple of days, and then leave a hidden message in Portal 2 saying 'we're releasing it next week suckers'.

That's my (far less realistic) hope.

Now that would be brilliant! After this long waiting for HL2:E3, you would think the release of Portal 2 would bring some kind of news about it. Considering we've not even got a release date for Episode 3, being told it's only a year away might not be such a bad thing. At least we'd know they've not forgotten about it...
