It makes a lot of sense for the more basic functions such as config and SNMP as they are so cheap and can be put anywhere due to the low heat output. The drawback of the raw grunt behind them seems to be creating just enough doubt for it to be avoided atm but from the way things are looking AMD might bump things up just enough to get around this.
