With so meny USB headset products coming on to the shop floors & online stores could this mean the end of the Sound card for gaming ?
I sure hope not. It's probably completely unfounded, but I always feel more comfortable connecting to a soundcard with a good ol' 3.5mm jack than use a USB headset for the actual sound in games (as opposed to VOIP).Quote:

X-Fi and a set of Astro A30's, cant beat the good old sound card. Dont want some nasty USB ones stealing my CPU cycles, those are to busy making my GPU cry when playing Crysis at max settings. :whip:
