I actually think, for once, Apple has made something decent, that new iPod Nano looks pretty awesome.

iPods were always made of WIN.

The new ones are really awesome!

PORTABLE music player with front/back facing camera and face time video calls over Wi-Fi its just sick lol

Not to mention all leftover from iPhone 4 like display etc.

I can't see how you'd actually be able to hold that new ipod nano and operate the screen at the same time.

looks like you need two hands for that. one to hold it and one to swipe.

    Smells like FAIL to me.

Re: News - Apple launches new iPods, social networking service and Apple TV

Well if the Apple TV device can be hacked to be a cheap network media player I might be interested. Otherwise i see nothing new but a small form fact touch which knowing how hard my touch screen phone can be to use I'm not interested.

Apple are known for creating easy to use software for their very well designed hardware though, go into a store and try one out .

Something must have went seriously wrong when they were making it lol

My missus owns iPhone 3GS and its a breeze to use [screen is VERY responsive], had a play with a Desire in the O2 store and I couldn't fault the screen either. I'd have thought that every touch screen device meant to be easier to use rather than being problematic.

not all touch screen devices are created equal. The Desire really is great to use, resistive touch screens on the other hand generally are not. My old Touch Diamond 2 was good at the time, but not a patch on the desire. My better halfs Nokia MusicPhone is atrocious.

i like the look of that nano to. Might have to head down to the apple store and check it out!

I dont like the sound of that social networking thing tho, there are just enough iPhone users for it to take on.

Interested in the Nano as long as you can remove that stupid clip from the back, also wtb a black version. Pity the sides arent in the style of the iPhone 4s as that would have set it quiet nicely.

Why would you want to do that?

For gym/running etc it feels perfectly in place.

Yes, and the best designed feature by far is the iFlames mode, perfect for those camping trips should you break through an iced-over lake and get wet and cold.

The UK won't net netflix streaming (or iPlayer) on Apple TV - so thats fail (and since when did $99 = £99 !!)

ipod Touch = iphone4 - without phone part (nothing new there)
