So less than 9 months until a replacement?
Man it's tough being an iDevice owner
Did that survey of just 500 people take into account those that actually have pets and wedding rings? What you really want is 500 people that have all three then you can say for sure which is the most prized. As it stands they are just telling you that the majority of those asked have little else of value in their lives.

...macbook isn't a laptop now ?iPod 12%
Blackberry 11.5%
iPhone 10%
Laptop 9%
Dog 9%
Games console 8%
Macbook 7%.
Have to agree with Funkstar that the survey is almost spectacularly uninformative - the sample size is far too small and there are several hugely important variables they've failed to control for. Obviously (as already mentioned) how many respondents actually have a wedding ring/pet, but also, how many people would actually classify their pet as a possession??
Trying to draw any conclusions of consumer preferences from this data would be highly spurious. In fact, I reckon there are only a few you can draw:
1. People probably value cameras more highly than TVs. Since ownership of these items is likely to be very similar (i.e. very high for both) you can probably compare the rates with reasonable confidence.
2. A worrying number of respondents are keen for people to know that the laptop that they own is not just any laptop, it's a macbook. Either that, or the even more cliched alternative of 'Macbook ownership significantly higher among Facebook users than general population'.
Or alternatively, the survey was just a bit of fun and I'm being too cynical
