Its a impressive little piece of kit, combine it with the new SBS Aurora or '7' and it is the perfect solution for a lot of small businesses out there.
Nice to see some inovation from HP, not usually a fan of theirs but this is a great idea.
This looks great.
Throw in a 1Gb SATADOM : http://linitx.com/viewproduct.php?prodid=12500 (theres a spare SATA slow for a CD/DVD), throw linux on that using a USB Drive.
As long as you keep it slim-line, and dont bother with a GUI, you can easily fit a nice fileserving box on there.
£260ish quid, plus 4 HDDs, instance 6Tb Fileserver with raid 5.
Here i was specing up a small box for fileserving, when HP comes along with a nice slick looking box, saves me hacking something together.
Manuals etc.

Not sure if hard disk rails are supplied for all drives.
As a file server it is a failure (no RAID 5)
As a general email server however this looks very nice, good price as well
Well looking at the spec sheet, it does have a 16x PCIe slot, so you could put a better raid card into that and hook the HDDs to that, which would give you the RAID 5.
But for a home user box, I wonder how well it would handle 1080p transcoding

They come from the dark and slice your head off
