Second story down. Appears that the htcsense.com will be linked to your account/phone rather than just a plain site.
Cheers

Hi guys, only just logged on again. We're probably looking at £5 per month fro a 'free' version of either of these and HTCSense.com won't go live til nee Desire et means yes to thar the launch day for these handsets - so October.
My understanding is that Froyo devices will be able to access HTCSense.com, so in prnciple that will apply to the original Desire, but there's still some stuff HTC has to sort out before that happens.
HTC.com will provide cloudy stuff primarily.
Nothing to beat the iPhone 4's resolution yet then
Ah well, give it time.
"Today HTC also presented their new cloud-based service found at HTCSense.com. Basically it will allow you to backup your phone's content and even remotely lock or wipe your phone in case it gets lost or stolen. If you can't find where you left your phone, you can see it on the map and even make it ring at maximum level (even in silent mode) to ease your search efforts. All this thanks to the new HTCSense.com services. HTCSense.com will be free for all compatible devices."
