Hmm, strange! As your article points out, Amazon film rental was sold off to Lovefilm about 4 / 5 years ago or so. (I was one of Amazon's rental customers that was moved to Lovefilm)

Would be great if they did. I'd prefer to rent off Amazon, rather than have another account off retailer "x" and add more hassle to my life.

Used to be a Lovefilm customer. It's nice to see it being bought by a bigger company as the service they offer really is quite good.

Netflix over in the States has generally done a much better job than LOVEFiLM has done back here. They're only just starting to cotton on to the whole idea of streaming content to devices...
