Funny that, this year has been the most unhappiest PC year for me; two faulty motherboards, one set of dominator ram currently being RMA'd, endless bad ATi drivers for the 5870, and pinstripe crashes for months!!

Anyone read Charles Stross' The Fuller Memoranum yet? (3rd part of the Bob Howard Laundry series).

In the book, the iPhone is irresistable because of a level 4 glamour on it.

Amazing that in a thread about customer satisfaction with computers, the Apple haters still choose to bang on about the iPhone.

Evidently, their point-blank refusal to accept that Apple could actually make something good leaves them unable to put together a justification for the high satisfaction rating that doesn't resort to irrelevant jibes.

Predictably, Apple was far and away the highest scorer...

    And haters will be haters.

The attitude of most people in this thread towards Apple products is every bit as shallow and inflexible as the folks who think that Steve Jobs is God's right-hand man.

They praise Apple products without any qualification. You bitch about them without any qualification. What's the difference?

There's a difference between bitching about a company without qualification, and you not hearing their arguments. If you depart the RDF for awhile, you'd probably see what they mean.
