    yeh i got a question for you, my mate says if I by another stick of 512mb XMS3200 the ones with the 18LEDs, will it run in dual channel, or just 2 sticks of 512? because I was under the impression that you have to have 2 hand picked sticks when running dual channel, hence why they sell them in a kit...???
    Also he said that if i get a gig of the xms3200 dual channel kit and have my 512 in aswell, the gig wont run in dual channel is this true?
    cheers
    PS if you could PM me that would help too

Why is that Chris? Not that bothered and am very happy with my purchase but just curious
    I'm not Chris, but I think I can still answer the question - the C2 versions only run with CAS2 on Intel, but run with CAS2.5 on AMD (http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/xms.html)

    I am Chris....

    Apologies for the delay in getting back, but I'm now officially in Christmas mode...

    Thanks to Mike for answering on my behalf....

    AMD - 2.5 and Intel - 2

    Cheers

    They are based on Samsung tccd modules. I've had a mooch about on google and found that the modules on the XL memory are as follows ;

    K4H560838F-TCCD

    These are actally DDR500 modules but corsair (and others) have found they like to run @ DDR400 ratings with VERY LOW latencies (2-2-2-5) and if you relax these timings just a fraction then the overclocking potential on these modules is superb
