No serviceman or women I know seemed to have a problem with this. And I can't see the issue myself either.

£10 for the first person who can guess who the 'opposing forces' are in Afghanistan.

If all the Taliban in the world emailed in and said we dont like the fact that its the Americans as the good guys, do you think they'd change the name for the "Allied" side?

Re: News - Taliban removed from Medal Of Honor

In all honesty it doesnt matter who isnt offended, if it offends some of the people who have been effected by the war (and im talking about servicemen and there families) then i think they are 100% right to change the name imho.

Will it effect game play ? .. No

Will it make any difference to anyone buying it ? no probably not .. if it does then they are pretty sad.

    So whats the problem ?

At the end of the day they didnt have to but they have obviously got a significant response for them to take action, so fair play to them for doing so ...

It's still in beta? Does that mean they haven't started pressing the discs yet or they are going to release an update on day 1 therefore leaving without Internet connectivity go with a beta version of the game? I suppose one way to check would be to try the game offline and see what the baddies are called. Sorry for the rant, it just annoys me how lazy devs have gotten now, assuming it's OK to leave bugs in and release a patch later. A good example would be OF:DR.

It's gained them a lot of publicity, which I think will help thier sales. Who know's maybe EA planned it all along to get some free publicity!! ha

I'm really impressed with this game, I don't understand all the bad press it's got it's easily more fun than CoD IMO!
