Not really a surprise.
While "submissions" from competitors deserve to be considered Sky have a bit of a habit of deliverately leaving these types of things to the last possible minute.

Dear BSkyB/Rupert Murdock,

I will never get Sky no matter what you do - Give it up. I will use these services and love them but if you manage to block them I will just chalk it up as one more reason to avoid your services.
