Is may just be me but I can't help but think MS should have spent the $500 subsidising the sensor? It looks nice but I just can't justify £120 on a device I don't know if i'll actually use - heck I could buy a wii for that!

It does sound a lot but does it not allow several people to then use the device at once (haven't read up on it to much so I'm guessing). How much would it cost you to buy 4 or more Wii remotes and then Wii motion plus', or several PS3 Move thingys?

"To keep it in the race." Sigh...

I wonder if this whole, "initial batch of Kinectz sold out" is just hype or have people already crossed (r)etailers palms with silver and actually showing some enthusiasm.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

I was under the impression that although the sensor bar can register up to 4 people, only two people can actually play a game at once? Unless this has changed?

The games also dont sound that appealing. That said I think its a nice step in a new direction and if it works as well as they are touting then it should be a must have accessory with the right games of course.

Well as I'm going to be the only person using it 99% of time - I'm guessing I can probably get one of each with the second hand wii. Also the selection of games on the wii is far more interesting than the kinect currently! To be honest though - I doubt i'll get either (at least in the short term).
