I'm seriously tempted by the 11in model. It's soo small. And surprisingly powerful.

Just received my 11" model, sold my 13" MBP for £1000 and bought myself an Air.

    It's absolutely amazing!!

Going from 13" MBP to that Air you lose:

expandable storage (MBP has a standard HDD)
    SD slot
    DVDRW drive
    battery life
    some cpu speed

    and just gain portability.

I can only think that with such small bodies that there is only one place for the heat to go - to your lap. I'm awaiting the reports of people burning themselves on them.

TBH I would never buy one, if for no other reason than the fact that you can't change the battery. So that makes it a short use product to me. Also is the SSD removable - what happens if that dies?

It is - according to Cult of Mac there's also a replacement (third party) one on the way - though getting the notebook open to swap them out sounds like it'll be erm.. 'interesting'..
