Kinda weird that the 15" is cheaper than the 14" at least from a manufacturing cost perspective. The Geforce GT 425M is quite decent though, at least compared to what we've seen from Dell (non Alienware) lately.
Generic Dell rubbish, nothing special there, As much as I hate to say it at least Apple are making a effort to do something different with there new Macbook Airs.
The screens on the Airs are what attracts me, higher resolution on smaller panels, I hate that were forced these crappy 1366 x 768 on us for every size, I remember when I could get a 15" laptop with a 1680 x 1050 screen, perfect for working on.
Its like things are going backwards and more generic with no innovation.
You could stick anyone's badge on these machines and no one would realise
'Generic Dell Rubbish' - is that true? Seems to me to have a slightly unusual design and the brushed aluminium internal and external is by no means generic.
A quick check on their website (at least the UK) shows that the 15" is also available with a 1920x1080 screen, if you want to spring a little extra for it (and will still cost you less than a new Macbook air).
If anything it's the air which would appear less innovative when compared to a previous brand incarnation.
