It's really getting silly now.. I guess they didn't make enough white prototypes to find out the problems with it =) Very embarrassing for a company that usually lives by its PR success..
It is going to be a totally different process to making the old white 3g/s, but I wonder if part of the issue is trying to avoid the discolouration that has appeared with all their other white products? The only white apple products i've owned has been my ibook/macbook/ipod4g, and all of them suffered from it to some degree.
I suspect that they will end up postponing until june anyway and end up giving all those who pre-ordered a white iphone 4 the equivalent current gen (be that iphone 4.5 or iphone 5..who knows atm).
Anyway who wants it in white - it looks so much better in black!
On a slightly different note, this is a very biased/totally uncharacteristic article from hexus..no offence meant directly to Sarah but this isn't a usual impartial hexus story..
