Ouch thats more than I was hoping for...I am in the market for a tablet early next year if funds allow, but not at that price. If I am paying that sort of money i'd rather get an ipad to be honest - if the samsung had come in at around £300 i'd have been tempted but a bit much for me.
Still, i'm going to have a hunt for some reviews, as its an interesting device. Maybe the Toshiba Folio would be a decent alternative.

I'm dubious too - but i'd compare it against the 3g ipad rather than the base spec one.
