They should just slap them first. I mean they already did something wrong and so there should be consequences. It shouldn't take over 1000 complaints over a 10 month period for those companies just to rectify what they did wrong.

It's not the only thing they've done wrong, they have, on multiple occasions phoned up my mother trying to get the MAC code for transferring our internet ISP over (to TalkTalk) without even explaining what it was they where doing.

Yay, so a company commits a blatant act of fraud, and they get a slap on the wrists, if I torrent an album, I can get whacked with a million pound civil suit. Way to stand up for the little guy there, Ofcom!

Thats how the British justice system works.

Break the law first time = slap on wrist

Second time = slap on wrist

Third time = slap on wrist

Forth time = slap on wrist

Fifth time = slap on wrist

Sixth time = slap on wrist

Seventh time = slap on wrist

Eighth time = slap on wrist

Ninth time = slap on wrist

Tenth time = maybe, just maybe a fine..

Eleventh time = slap on wrist etc etc
