They can beg to differ all they want. It has *never*ever* worked for me when I needed it.

The thing is MS has no interest in developing it for the platform, but unlike flash and even java its based on ECMA standards.

So is .Net, that doesn't mean that portions of the runtime library aren't covered by patients, or automatically make it cross platform.

KIN wasn't nearly as far reaching though - and to be fair WP7 did require core changes too. There's some similarity though and I guess you could argue you either way (depending on your level of investment in doing so..). Good point about Zune too.

USB on linux 2.4 never worked properly for me.

What is more irksum is the fact that to deploy an app i've written, to my own phone i've bought, I'm having to give a photocopy of my passport to MS (no joke.).

Wtf is going on, its almost enough to make me buy an android, almost.

Microsoft is always like this. That's why you shouldn't leap into anything that is Microsoft.

They usually only know what they are doing the second time around.
