They can beg to differ all they want. It has *never*ever* worked for me when I needed it.

So is .Net, that doesn't mean that portions of the runtime library aren't covered by patients, or automatically make it cross platform.

KIN wasn't nearly as far reaching though - and to be fair WP7 did require core changes too. There's some similarity though and I guess you could argue you either way (depending on your level of investment in doing so..). Good point about Zune too.

Well that can then be added to 'the list'

USB on linux 2.4 never worked properly for me.
VLC on netbooks...... why so sloooooow.
    Wifi and Video
A north London Tesco (seriously utter ****)
Apple pre OSX (such a turd of an OS, I had to use this in 2002, using a hockey puck mouse too, it was like a form of chinease water torture...)

Anyway, It has worked for some but is drastically lacking investment with no sign of that changing.

What is more irksum is the fact that to deploy an app i've written, to my own phone i've bought, I'm having to give a photocopy of my passport to MS (no joke.).

Wtf is going on, its almost enough to make me buy an android, almost.

Microsoft is always like this. That's why you shouldn't leap into anything that is Microsoft.

They usually only know what they are doing the second time around.
