resistive screens? No thanks guys!!!
:-(
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
resistive screen == stylus input - put me down for the 7" 16GB version
Although seriously, > £200 for a 7" tablet sounds a bit steep to me - it'd have to be pretty good to make me part with my money... and have they sorted Android + handwriting recognition yet?
Resistive screens really aren't *that* bad, IMO. I have a resistive phone and capacitative ipod, and while I prefer the capacitative screen, it's not night and day, and I rarely (1-2x/month) use a stylus. My next phone will be capacitative, but that's to remove the chance of issues with "pocket-calling" and the like, not because of a technical inferiority with the screen.
My N900 is resistive, and to be honest I don't mind one bit, I like the stylus option, and registering finger presses is not a problem, there are many other problems with the device, but registering my touches is not one of them.
My girlfriends HTC Desire I have problems with, my pudgy fingers are hard to be precise with, whereas a nail or stylus would solve that issue!
