I just hope Steam doesn't do an F1 on us and unlocks at about 6PM on release day, and even then not for everybody.

no chance of that happening. MW1 was £30 for over a year on pc.

anyways screw cod. crap boring game that imo is overhyped and offers nothing new since COD4. allow paying £40 for a mod.

Re: News - Sainsbury's to open at midnight for Black Ops launch

Does anyone know which stores will be open at midnight? I was planning on getting it first thing in the morning from my local Sainsbury's, as last year they did MW2 for £30 for the first batch in the shop. I was hoping there was going to be something similar again this year. I can't see them selling it at a discount at midnight though.

Hmmm, seems HMV are doing it for £43 with Turtle Beech X11's if you trade in MOH, which I was planning on doing and I could use a new headset. Decisions, decisions.

Re: News - Sainsbury's to open at midnight for Black Ops launch

As far as I can tell from the various price threads floating around HUKD and the like, at Sainsbury's it's going to be priced at £27.97 with a £30 spend on groceries, otherwise it's £37.97. That's the PS3 and 360 version btw ^^

I'm with you on that - I pre-ordered from Game and got mine this morning (Monday) so half of lunchtime was spent giving it a spin.

May as well just say Wednesday as to not get your hopes up for a reasonable Tuesday release.

I work on the games section for a Sainsburys store and can confirm this deal as correct. Not as cheap as last year when we had it at £26 but still a bargain. Will be staying back an hour after work fir the midnight release to get my copy with staff discount

Game have a deal that you get cod half price when you trade in a game. (specific titles)
Gamestation also have the cod for £24 if you buy another chart game.
