I'd expect to see them pretty soon then, as netbooks for example could make great use of them. However, people like Samsung will also be making alternatives I guess so it seems that the small ssd bandwagon may begin to really start rolling...

Way too expensive for netbooks, though, surely? Even with prices coming down, these modules will still cost a pretty penny, and are unlikely to attract netbook manufacturers who actually want to turn a profit.
I wouldn't be surprised to see more netbooks and laptops go for custom and/or integrated storage though. Upgradability isn't important to most users - HEXUS readers excluded, obviously - and it would probably keep prices down.
