Why would anyone buy this card!? They are going to have to at least make it chepaer than the 768mb.

It does seem to smack a bit of desperation. The price will have to go under £100 to be competative in the market unless the 768 meg model goes EOL very soon.

The fact that it's launching at the same price should mean that the 768MB 460 disappears once stock sells through. Might also mean the prices of the older cards drop a bit to clear stocks, making them a great buy while they last - as if they weren't already at £115.
