The rebuild times would be crazy with drives that big. RAID6, RAIDZ2 or even RAID1 across three drives would be a little bit safer.Quote:

Definitely RAID-6/Z2 for disks that large. Chances of an unrecoverable read error on another disk during a resilver would be too high for my liking otherwise.
I believe on disks that large with current unrecoverable bit error rates for consumer HDD's, an unrecoverable error on restore is actually more likely than not!Quote:
