We have stopped using them at work, so far 1 RAID controller failure, 2 Hinges going on the screens, 1 SSD crapping out, Wifi dying on another and one DOAQuote:

I prefer the XPS 15 to the XPS 17. Slightly more versatile size, with option for full HD screen (strangely the 17" come with a higher resolution screen than the 15" at stock, but is stuck with it).
As for the Sony I'll pass. Great on paper but I don't trust their quality (I am replacing an SZ Premium).
