Not a big fan of the Fallout games. We were thinking of Bioshock for the 5th place, but then changed it last minute.

It's really a personal preference this list rather than what might be many people's top five games.

Darn, shows how deeply unfashionable i am - I've managed to avoid all of the top 5 given. Nearest I got was Halo3 (not that impressed) and the Lost&Damned/Ballad-of-Gay-Tony double pack (which I've only just scratched the surface of - damn you, BF2BC2, MoH, CoD:BO, JC2...)

One question though - were any of these chosen because they're XBox exclusives? Just wondering about the lack of CoD games for example (which of course are multiplatform).

I prefer this over Fallout 3 TBH and although i was suggesting MW should be first, this is as much a justified choice

Had so much fun with this when it came out, bust out of the sewers and its: "I can actually go anywhere O_O" Must of been at about level 8 before i found Martin xD

MW in a top 5, don't make me laugh, COD is jsut the same rehashed FPS generic crap each time round, why so many people fap over it I don't know, there are much better FPS's out there, the only reason I play Black Ops at the moment is for lanning.

You didn't play the decent singleplayer campaign then which was short but game worthy on its own.

The online side of things goes without saying.

Nope - Mass effect 2 was on PC, as was Oblivion. Orange box originated on PC and GTA is on every platform. Only exclusive was Halo.

Oblivion is a great choice! It was probably the first game to truly make my jaws drop since GTA III and that was for the same reason: the then unbelievable amount of freedom. I thought maybe Fallout 3 would make it since it is very similar but is more recent and probably more popular but Oblivion is definitely a nice surprise. Also I think Halo Reach justifies its position by the sheer (user-created) content and polish. A pretty good list of the best xbox games imo!

Played and finished it, It was enjoyable but nothing special, there are far better FPS games out there.
