I've liked this group for ages! If there are any non conformists out there, it's just 49p on Amazon!

Just for this, whoever or whatever spawned from the X-Factor bile now gets my vote. Down with the establishment!!

    I demand recognition!

I joined, then removed myself as whoever the admin is for the group spammed every 10minutes & filled up my feed, yeah I get it, you want me to buy Surfin' Bird!

No too bothered who gets to number one really but it's a fun song so why not! Might purchase on iTunes at some point this week

The HEXUS.community scooped me on last year's one too.

That video in your link is all kinds of wrong.

X factor will (sadly) get the no.1 this year as there are too many protest options out there with not enough co-ordination or organisation.

Re: News - Surfin' Bird aims to be this year’s X-Factor killer

Everyone in Ireland is campaigning to get "Horse Outside" by the Rubberbandits to number one this year.

If you haven't listened to it on YouTube yet then go check it out. You'll understand why it should be No. 1 this Christmas

Quite right - The Metro newspaper is backing the 4 mins 33 sec of silence.
But then, it's tough to have organised anarchy!
(Maybe we could get Simon Cowell to present a new show with eliminations of various anti-xfactor songs)

I see absolutely zero reasons why this should be number 1 at Christmas?

Then again, I see zero reason why Surfin' Bird should be number one.

In fact, I don't care this year, Christmas number one is the same as any other number one, and I don't like any of them.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if anyone stops the X-Craptor song gets to number one or not, Simon will still make his millions.

Re: News - Surfin' Bird aims to be this year’s X-Factor killer

I never cared really about xfactor but this year I am a bit pissed off that they're ripping off Many Of Horror which is a great song. Why can't they just pick another Miley Cyrus song and be done with it? Why pick a genuinely good song to destroy? They'll probably do Elbow and Keane next trying to play the nice guy image and that would truly be a sad day.

Re: News - Surfin' Bird aims to be this year’s X-Factor killer

It's all pointless anyway. Unless you stop the idiots who buy it every year it doesn't matter who's Xmas No 1. Also found out this year that the final is rigged anyway. A guy from work won over £2000 after being tipped off what the final order was. It was clearly not only him who knew as he only got 3/1 odds.

They should have got the Family Guy team involved to do a video as that probably explains the choice of track anyway.
