build a dual gpu one nVidia :)
Where do we see this slotting in then performance wise? somewhere between a 6870 and 6950? I REALLY hope it gives the 6950 a run for its money and comes in around the £180-200 mark. THink I'll hold off buying a new card till this baby drops, it may just be the catalyst for a vicious price war at the sub £200 segment
Clocks speeds may not be all that impressive, but given that its coupled with the extra shaders as well just a starting point frequency wise i think i may be getting one of these when they become available.
So basically the GTX560 was what I already predicted. So basically it will be 10% to 15% faster than an overclocked GTX460 like the EVGA GTX460 FTW. Hence it will be around the same speed as GTX470 or slightly faster in some games.
Hence, like I said before the HD6870 should be competitive but can be priced cheaper due to its significantly smaller GPU and the HD6950 2GB will probably be a bit more faster but priced higher as it has a slightly larger GPU.
For an incremental update?? The GTX560 is basically an overclocked GTX460 with extra shaders reactivated.
If TDP remains the same/lower then why not, I'd sell this card on obviously.
