That said £120pa does seem a little steep for a service that doesn't allow you to download anything to media players (even Sony ones!) and I can't help thinking that this would buy a good few CD's. Or use Last.FM ...
As to the name, I've heard worse - to me Qriocity should always be said as "curiosity", which seems appropriate for a service that allows you to try new music.
