I have noticed that in Lenovo laptops, they already use a slimmer version of the SSD.

Intel X25 SSD , regular size

    Thinner SSD for Lenovo laptops.

That difference just looks to be comparing their 1.8" drive with their 2.5" one, no mystery there

I'm impressed at the price here - very similar to the regular drives!

Wonder if you could get a mini-pcie to pcie adapter and use these in a desktop?

CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
