Or just go back to DoW 1 style of gameplay xD Although Dark Crusade was the final polish for DoW 1, almost perfection for the RTS. Then DoW2 landed and they took Company of Heroes and slapped Space Marines on it. The small squad count really annoyed me at first.

DoW 2 is decent, love playing it myself, but for Warhammer 40k you need to mass armies and sheer number of unit's which DoW delivered, DoW2 is a simple few squads but more tactical. Hell DoW2 even stripped out the base building. I get what Relic were trying to do but I still miss the DoW1 features. If there is ever a DoW3 then I would love to see the sheer number of squads and bases to come back from DoW1 and the tactical side of DoW2 as at times the AI was dreadful in DoW1.

Either way, these packs have been announced for the last week. Simple case of selling you one pack then a few months down the line charging you for the other skins etc :/

Chaos Rising wasn't brilliant, so will hold off on this add-on.

I saw the collectors ed at the same price as the standard ed so just went for that one - I like my goodies.

Didn't play Chaos Rising though - didn't seem worth it. Will have to just catch up the story somewhere or pick it up if it goes cheap as a result of this pack coming out.

I was the same, refused to pay the steam price for the Addon and just left it at the time. Amazon had it for £12 for a while but I only just grabbed it myself on the Steam Christmas Sale for £9.

First time I've owned the Add-on but have played through it on a friends machine when it came out. I just wished they would bring back the sheer size of the armies from DoW1. Having a commander, a group of 4, 2 groups of 3, just doesn't have the same feel as DoW1 with the 50+ units and the base sizes

You should see how much Steam wants for Retribution.

    Aye lol

The wanted £29.99 for Chaos Rising (they were having a laugh) now its the same for Retribution. I know Steam gets its prices from the publishers etc but as this is a steamworks game. I will wait for Amazon to drop it to £10 like they did at times with the first add-on and just buy it retail and stick the code in Amazon.

Amazon is offering the collectors edition for 30.60 or so. I guess it won't hurt to preorder it till Relic releases more information.
