Having been a long term Squeezebox forum member, I can say that there will be a lot of very happy people now.

This has been asked repeatedly for a long time now, the sort of unofficial response from some of the devs has been "we would support Spotify if we could" which really means that Spotify wouldn't open their API to Logitech, obviously they have changed their minds now.
