I think this is potentially more exciting than the PSP2, if done right Sony could win BIG time with this.
And it fits perfectly with the Playstation phone that has been leaked in every way possible on the tech blogs.
They just need to make sure its not just SE making the phones. I don't think anyone will risk being left with an unsupported SE droid phone again. Otherwise sounds like a good idea.
Which is exactly what is it:

So essentially 1st party emulator for PS1 then on android
- I wonder how they're going to do the controls.
But i can already game on my Andorid, and get a PSX emulator.
Are you even trying Sony.
Hmmm, I was all set to go for the cheapest possible handset when renewal time comes round this year, and now Sony go and throw (essentially) an android handset + PSOne combined into the fray. I'll hold off until the reviews shake down and we see what games are available, but it's a very tempting package, tbh...
Really exciting.... hmmmmmmm....
Its promising a range of PlayStation titles to Android 2.3-based devices...
