Totally agree.
They are not too far off being out of business, maybe this will push them over if it fails.
It's only what they deserve, and it may kick other manufactures up the back side.
Surprised it isn't shipping with 2.1 - After all 2.1 with UX is far superior to 2.2 (according to @SonyEricssonUK!).
Yes us X10 owners are still mad.
I am sure it will be excessively expensive and not up to par with HTC or Samsung's offerings.
Hopefully this will kill SE
... that made me laugh
Yep, we were mad to believe SE wouldn't screw us over the same way they did with Vivaz and Satio owners. On the upside there's no evidence to say that they won't pull exactly the same trick (next year?) with the Arc's replacement.
But maybe we shouldn't criticise too much - after all we are getting that upgrade that gives dual-touch etc. Shame it's the last official one. Not that I'm much bothered since there's freeX10 and now a Cyanogen port for the X10. And there's a thriving "community" on SE's own support forums dedicated to these.
Sorry, going to disagree here. My X10 (from Three!) was pretty price competitive with equivalent Samsung offering at the time I bought it. And okay, the HTC option was cheaper, but not by much and tbh the phone didn't look as good as the X10 does (yes, I know, with that degree of shallowness I should have bought an iPhone!)
Didn't I hear somewhere that Samsung were also getting slagged off for delayed delivery of Froyo for some of their phones too? Although even a "delayed" 2.2 is better than SE's scheme.
Nice, I'll be hopefully getting one, still have a X1!
