"I have ceased my work...I have been subject to criminal attack. My e-mails have been hacked. I have had death threats and bomb threats. It has caused immense hassle to me and my family."
And of course your taking obscene amounts of money from people and then giving very little of it back to the people who deserve it didnt hurt anyone?

Bottom feeding scum bags feelings have been hurt, boo hoo. Should have thought about your family before you started in questionable business tactics

However badly i feel that his family got involved, i feel no empathy for this man.

Hang on a second "ACS:Law kept 65 percent of the recouped spoils, leaving the copyright owners with 30 percent."

So where'd the last 5% go huh?

Still, regardless of how dubious these proceedings were, no one deserves death threats, and outright attacks on their private life!

Well yes to feel sorry for his family a little. On the other hand he was responsible for the data he held on his computer system. Lists which he didn't even bother to encrypt containing 'possible' people to pursue. There were probably a bunch of innocent people on those lists whos reputations could have been tarnished or far worse. I don't recall ever hearing any form of apology from the man for his misdeeds, and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.

Re: News - ACS:Law and MediaCAT shut up shop

I don't feel sorry for him at all and his use of the word "hassle" as a bad thing, when he still feels justified in doing it to others for his own benefit, suggests at least mild psychosis.

As for his family, it's probably over now and any discomfort was inflicted by hubby/daddy, so they don't have to look far for the blame. At any rate, the kids are probably being driven to their private schools in a Porche SUV, all paid for by immoral and illegal attacks on the weak and scared.

He is a bully and while I have nothing against his family, I don't see why they should benefit from his bullying. Let's show our sympathy for his victims, NOT his family.
