Madness really - I can understand why but..I don't think that many people will be willing to pay again (when many of us have already paid again for titles we already owned on CD).
Not so sure this will be a bit success anyway, as its limited to one device if I understand correctly. People seem to like phones that can play games, OK so thats great..but consoles that can work as a phone? Not convinced it works the other way round.
Now if they made the emulator an app that could work on multiple devices, even just android for the moment..then they would be on to a winner. Set a minimum hardware spec and you are away. Easier to do this for the iPhone of course since you know the exact hardware specs, but i'm not so sure what Sony's relationship with Apple is like.
That's a deal breaker for me. I was quite interested in this phone as well. :/
