Meh as with all things Android I'll believe it when I see it. A lot of broken promises have been made from the HTC camp.
"half a billion people can't be wrong" - that's a bit of a silly response really. Many of those people won't be people (I know several people with more than one account, since it's kinda tricky to delete an account), myself included (I created an extra to see what information people, myself included, had open for all to see). Many of those people will be businesses. One of my friend's cat has a profile. And even from those accounts that are unique people, many aren't regular facebook users or don't have any interest in a 'facebook phone'.
