Well I could.. if it was there. I can only see the SDK, symbols and integrated W7 versions atm - no sign of the standalone service packs!

They're up on my Technet (standalone and bootable ISOs), but I can't download any - I just get a failure immediately, although this might be our council-supplied internet, which has become shockingly locked down over the past 6 months.
Ah i'm on MSDN Professional - seems they're appearing sporadically. I'm managing 600k/sec on the SDK atm.

My main home system can wait a month. That way if I get problems, the likelihood of finding similar problems to speed up troubleshooting via google is much higher.

well i had 4 updates waiting pre SP1 and 8 post SP1...

It would be if you didn't already have most of it installed already.
it failed then changed to 80 odd mb and now it wont install just keep coming up failed to configure windows updates. Useless piece of ..... windows update
