Well I don't think they have anything to complain about. The current xperia range is stuck on 2.1 forever (unless some XDA developer breaks the bootloader of course).

That was the problem with the hero. Caused me to go the homebrew route and I`ve been homebrew ever since even on my desire hd![]()
My Desire HD works absolutly fine with 2.2, although latest patch from December left a few quirks. But if HTC never released 2.3 or 2.4 for it, I would not be disapointed. From what I can see neither of the new version will offer anything new to older handsets.
Out of interest what will 2.3 actually deliver as improvements?

So that means faster/smoother operation and better power management.
