Not that I'm likely to end up buying one, but it'll be interesting to see what specs the new Airs will have. It's odd but that seems to be one area where Apple don't seem to be particularly overpriced compared to the competition, once you factor in weight as well as performance and battery life.
While I'm very much a home-made PC guy for myself, my work section uses Macs, and I'm due for a new macbook pro. We ordered one each for me and my boss about a week ago...

Considering the last refresh removed expresscard slots for all but the top-end 17" MBP, I feel tremendously skeptical that Apple will bother to change back. It was clear that this move was made so that Apple could gouge audio and video professionals wallets.
Though it isn't just them, trying to find a high-performance 13" laptop with expresscard and decent on-board video is a seemingly herculean task nowadays. Bah!

PC World () had an excellent 13"er for sale a couple of months ago, but it doesn't seem to be around any more
There's a couple more popped up though. The Toshiba Satellite R630-155/R630-156 are pretty solid options from the look of it. 2.5GHz i3/2.66GHz i5 CPUs with a 9hr battery life. The graphics is pretty bog standard Intel integrated unfortunately though.
