I'm in no hurry, and its not saying it wants me to update yet.

Can't believe Microsoft is rolling out the first big update in October. Thats nearly 12 months after launch. Don't think Microsoft really take the mobile market seriously compared to Google. Roll on Google's desktop os.

Apparently Microsoft has issued a statement.. unplugging the battery should fix the unresponsive phones in most cases. Otherwise a hard reset should work.

    Not really.

For a start off the jump is more than say Eclare to Froyo which was about 12 months iirc.

So compared to google thats OK, ish. The other main benefit is all handsets will be brought up to latest version, even if it bricks devs onmia7s...... Shame because I found it so fitting it became my primary phone, oh well I've got two more to fall back on, I suppose most people with dev unlocks are in the same boat.

Now whats shocking is how its taken this long just to get the installer update out the door. Espesually with so few handsets on the market.
