"Moving onto tablets, Forbes reported that Cook predicts the tablet market will be much bigger than the PC market and Sacconaghi in turn reportedly reckons that if the prediction proves true, the iPad tablet part of Apple could be worth around $60 to $100bn."

This makes me laugh. Sure I'd have a tablet if i could afford one but replace my PC or laptop - no way. Also no way i'd be able to replace my work PC with one. I really think the tablet market is getting blown out of all proportion at the moment.

Hmm they might produce a cheaper device if its true that they get significant revenue from the AppStore but is it really going to be enough to sacrifice the massive profits, and the fact that the brand might be tarnished.

Then again the fan boys didn't have issue with the iPod shuffle because it was so incredibly useless, will they be able to make a phone that is not worse than an ipod touch cheaply enough....
