Well as at 9.10pm, iTunes (10.2) is reporting no iOS update available to me, "This version of the iPhone software (4.2.1) is the current version"

I can confirm that this works, and now (whilst at home) I have my entire library available to play on my handheld, for glorious week-and-tinny audio reproduction.
