So what kind of port / button / sensor is that in the teaser pic? 'Cause if it's a 3.5mm audio jack - and it looks a bit like one - that's an *incredibly* thin piece of kit...
Could it be a 2.5mm audio jack? And I notice the picture seems to show the case bulging out to accommodate this, in which case; yes; that's one thin tablet.
Lighter than iPad2? Good! (Thickness isn't everything). Agree that the pricing is going to be crucial - get that 8.9" for £300 and they've got a winner in my books - even for a single-core WiFi only one.The tablet sports Android Honeycomb OS, 4G connectivity, a dual core processor, 1GB ram, surround-sound speakers, 8MP and 2MP cameras and is even lighter than the iPad 2. ... It will be interesting to see whether the official price from Samsung is around £600 or less and of course how much the rumoured 8.9 inch tablet will set consumers back.
I've played with both the iPad and the original Samsung tablet. The iPad experience is MILES better. They only way they can beat Apple now is on price point. They need to undersell these. I certainly wouldn't buy one for more £300. And this is coming from a self confessed Android whore.
